Revisiting the North Western Fells, while both Robinson and Hindscarth had been climbed on previous occasions, this trip provided the opportunity to do the two together.
Setting off from Newlands Church towards Robinson, the route up High Snab Bank was taken. The three rock steps on Blea Crag required the usual rock handling to scramble up them.
As height was gained the strong gusts became more protracted, which necessitated additional clothing layers, despite the sun.
Following a short lunch stop at the summit of Robinson, some height was lost dropping down Littledale Edge, before taking the slope up to Hindscarth. After a further brief stop on the summit, the return to Newlands required the rocky descent down Scope End.
